Celebrations
This came a bit too late but oh well.
I officially celebrated my birthday last Saturday with a dinner at Bosses at Vivocity. It has been such a long time since we went there.
On Sunday, I got to celebrate at my cousin's house with Awfully Chocolate cake, pizzas and KFC. Yes, I realised this is the 3rd year I had a cake from Awfully Chocolate. I'll change next year on.
I know that people usually have a obligatory 21st birthday party but I'm not like others, right? Parties are not really my area or my division. I will feel so awkward being the center of attention. So, no thanks.
On Monday, since it was holiday in lieu for my brothers and I am on holidays anyway, the parents took a day off and we went to catch The Avengers on IMAX at Shaw Lido.
The movie is really awesome! I'm not someone who really like action-packed movies but The Avengers is an exception. Perhaps, I just have more interest in certain heroes movies than other superheroes, say Superman or Batman. To be honest, I think a strong motivator for my liking is the share of good-looking actors in it. Lots of girls certainly thought so.
I added a couple of new charms to my Pandora bracelet. I chose a blue swirly Murano glass bead and a red enamel poppy flower bead. Actually, I wanted to get a flower dangle but it costs too much. Maybe, I will get it later on. Maybe, I will change my leather bracelet to a silver one. All these could only happen when I get my pay so I have to grit my teeth and put in more hours during this holiday.
I already received my traditional gift, a key, from the parents. It is a heart-shaped key pendent, made from rose gold with two little diamonds from Lee Hwa Jewellery. I usually prefer silver jewellery but because there was a lack of designs from the silver collection, I chose to go with rose gold instead.
All in all, I'm extremely grateful to have "survive" for this long and cheers to many years to come. I once told myself that I have to live till I manage to visit the countries I like.

Of Beautiful Nights
Last weekend was superb! I've never had so much fun for quite a long time.
-
On Saturday, the family went to Night Safari! It was actually a spontaneous decision.
-
We left house around 5 plus to go for dinner. In the end, we ate at Night Safari itself. Woah, the price is atrocious! One dish of grilled stingray and a bowl of rice cost S$17. By right, we shouldn't have gone there to eat, but we can't find any parking spot at other eating places.
-
The tickets with the tram ride cost us around S$100 plus. And despite being excited in going inside, I felt a little guilty for spending so much.
-
Night Safari as usual was chock-full of tourists from everywhere. It's bad for us but I guess, it is good for the attraction and Singapore in general. We can't stand waiting in the snaking queue, in this humid condition, for the free show so we just left for the leopard trail instead. Besides, don't get me started on the queue for the tram ride.
-
After walking the whole trail in the twilight hour, we were perspiring due to the moisture and lack of breeze. It was a good walk though. Too many animals were sleeping and my particular favourite creatures are the mewing otters and a very tiny mousedeer.
-
The queue for the tram ride was still quite long so we went out for snacks and drinks first. I bought ice-cream from Ben's and Jerry's and sat at Bongo Burgers where my brothers and parents drank S$5 per cup of ice peach tea.
-
These tourists' spending power must be so great that they can afford all these highly-price items. I shake my head in disbelief and in awe.
-
By now, the queue had shorten somewhat and so we joined it. The tram came and we hopped up. -
If there is one thing I can change, I will change the freaking attitude and lack of consideration of some of these people. What is wrong with them?! The rules said "No flash photography is allowed" and still they go on flashing away. If it was up to me, I will ask them to leave the premises for not following the common sense.
-
It was still the fun ride I loved and enjoyed over the years. Night Safari is my favourite because of its air of mysteriousness and concept. Now, if only the the weather is a little cooler and dryer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On Sunday, to celebrate Fathers' Day, the whole family went to Bosses at Vivocity. It seems that the "children" can't get enough of the dishes there. The parents said that this will be the last time in a long while before we eat at the restaurant again.
My parents and I, together with my Aunt who was sharing the car ride with us went to Vivocity earlier as I wanted to get black covered heels. I need new black heels for the DHL ceremony.
After browsing through a few shoes shops, I finally settled for a pair from Everbest. Well, they are not exactly cheap but there was a 30% discount. My mother too bought a pair of shoes from there.
I decided to buy a Montagut polo shirt as a Fathers' Day present and he accepted.
The others came and we ordered almost the same dishes as the last times. I still like the dishes there. We enjoyed ourselves tremulously, laughing and eating. It is moments like this treasured most with my family.
There was cake after meal, made by my other Aunt and cousin. It was good.
Monday was the start of the school term for me, so we went home without staying back further.

It's a birthday song in French. Too bad I don't know how to sing it.

-
By the way, thank you for the wishes! I'll type out the names soon.
-
I'll only go out and celebrate next week. But, yesterday was fun!
-
Went to VivoCity's Bosses for Mothers' Day dinner. My cousins and my brothers and I were laughing so much because we were making fun of the Twilight movie and talking ermm, "weird" stuff. It's really great!
-
Walked around afterwards, and went to Pacific Coffee.

Sentosa outing
Went to Sentosa with Secondary 4 classmates on Friday. In the end, only 3 girls and 6 guys went. A little pathetic, maybe.
My friend and I went there via bus 855, wow, it was a long journey to Harbour Front Interchange.
Boarded the bus en route to Sentosa. I was thinking, there should not be so many people there since school term has already started except for Poly. Still, there were quite a lot of people, playing volleyball.
The sun was especially hot that day. I didn't play volleyball but sat in the shade. I was still sun-burnt quite badly. In actual fact, I put my legs and hands out in the sun to sun-tan for a while. Who knows that I got burnt? The guys had it even worse.
Washed up at about 5-6pm and went to VivoCity to eat dinner. Ate at Carl's Jr for the first time. The burger was huge, although I just bought the normal one. I didn't finished it. The fries are quite nice though.
Walked around and went home afterwards.
My skin remains red and the awful tan-lines is getting on my nerves. Luckily, I don't wear too short shorts and T-shirts. What is bad was, only my right leg and arm are very red. My neck and ear also had it bad.
I was telling my father to go to Sentosa so that I could even it out, by tanning my left leg and arm.
Yes, I don't feel like typing hence the short update, there's no inspiration for me to write. I hope things will be fine again. I'll post up the photos soon.
Tomorrow is the start of school, going to school at around 5pm just to have a stupid lecture.

Celebration
Yesterday, to celebrate grandfather's birthday, the whole family went to VivoCity's Bosses for dinner. Bosses is great, (direct translation to English from its Chinese name is Black Society). This is the 3rd or 4th time we went to eat there. I think it was nearing 8pm before we started eating.
Actually, they wanted to go Sushi Tei but the queue was so long. There was so many people in Vivo on a Friday night. Everywhere on the roads, you can see traffic jams. Even tables in Bosses were almost occupied.
After dinner, we went Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for drinks. It was about 11+pm when we parted. Almost all the shops were closed save a few.
