*Double sigh-ness*

And my holidays has surely come to an standstill...

Two more days as a free person and I'm so not looking forward to being tied down.

The things I set out to accomplish during the holidays has remain unaccomplished. What happen there, I'm not too sure. Between the savouring of novels, spending time online and working, there isn't much time for anything else.

Tomorrow is a public holiday which means no work, yay! I can at least complete that banner for the blog like I plan.

It's a complete double whammy. It's outrageous!

The timetable stings big time. 3 days of classes at 9am which means that I have to wake at 5.30am. 3 days of ending at 6pm which corresponds with the 9am classes. Starting late on Mondays but ending at 8pm, no thanks to World Issues CDS.

One good thing is that I'm free to work on Tuesdays. Ending at noon and will report in 4.30pm.

Gosh, when did I start to look forward to working? At least, cash is coming in...

Here's a toast for early starts, late endings and long hours altogether. Cheers. Another toast for semester 2.2 to pass as quickly and painless as possible. Here's to us. You know what? Just pass me the bottle of fire whiskey.

Gods, my heart stood still for some moments.

I received the news that my laptop battery died on me and the laptop can't be used. I was just so upset over it! I'm supposed to be doing my banner tomorrow... Until I unplugged and plugged in the battery into a new socket. It worked! Thank goodness!

However, the desktop died for some reasons. It means that my brothers will suffer a little and used my laptop. They can used it while I'm in school and I've got to set rules for them.

Titles

Phew, what a relief! I thought that there is something wrong with Blogger again. Suddenly, all the icons are gone and I'm stuck in a Html mode... But, it's fine now.

I have been thinking about changing my Blog title for quite some time. I'm down to 2 titles; "In a Reverie" and "A pensieve-ful of memories". I like both, almost equally.

However, I've a soft spot for the former. It's short and sweet, and speaks volumes. I got the idea from someone. As for the one-liner below the title, I think I'll go with "Wielding the pen with a flourish". One fine eve during work inspire this. Again, it brings across the points quite clearly.

Maybe, I'll do two banners for the two titles. That way, I'm able to change it whenever I feel like it.

A change is what I need. It's October, soon the Blog's anniversary will be here. Has it been 4 years already? Time sure pass fast.

Ramblings

Another post for the miscellaneous stuff.

First of all, I wanted to scream! What happen to Fanfiction website!? I need my fix, now!

God, I sure hope it's not my problem, whatever that may be. I don't mind that much if they have maintenance problems or what. Just give me back my Fanfiction by tomorrow morning and everything will be fine.

As of now, thank goodness, Fanfiction is back on. Yay!

I've read many novels so far. I'll probably spend some time reviewing some of the novels these few days. For don't what reason, I don't feel like typing much.

I'm getting depressed. Maybe it's due to the fact that school is reopening soon. Yes, it's immature of me to demand a longer holiday. If the holiday is any longer still, I'll become a worm.

I'm aiming for a total of 1500 posts in the Lex by the time I go back to school. It's not that hard to achieve that, as long as there are people who will play in the 2 threads I frequent.

There is painting work going on in the housing estates. Gone are the sunny red, orange and yellow paint, here comes dreary green and more green. I've seen the sample of the end result, it's really different. It's this mix of greenish-blue and green design.

Oh yes, my cousin finally gave the disc containing the photos of her wedding, with me as her bridesmaid. Some of the pictures are rather flattening, if I must say so myself.

Last but not least, I made some New Moon-inspired banner and avatar today. It's quite different from my usual banners. I'll post them up on Facebook as soon as I edited them and perhaps on here too.

Ramblings

Had Business Statistics test today. It was OK, in general. I stumbled over a question and thought of the answer for a long time before answering.

The teacher said I did one part wrongly though. Really stupid and careless mistake. Sigh...

Yes, this week is finally over! Passed up our MacroEcons project. It's very beautiful. Feeling more relaxed although there's marketing project left.

Aside from tomorrow's Business Accounting make-up lecture, the weekend looks to be great. I'm wishing this Chinese New Year to be wonderful.

But for whatever reasons, I'm feeling rather depressed. Mood swings or just plain depression? It's like I'm not part of the festive joy at all. Always looking from the outside.

Later I'm going to Far East Flora to "see" and buy flowers.

The others are great too. What wonderful ideas to work on my next series of banners.

'Somewhere the clock is ticking' I can just feel the anticipation and tension. Ticking to the release of New Moon movie, time is wasting away, time washes away as you fight for the one you love. Very angst: the theme for New Moon.

Well well, I need time. I want to work on the banners.

Hotmail is problematic

Did some project work and worked on my newest series of banners.

The problem was that hotmail can't be access, again. I don't know what's going on, but hotmail is one big trouble lately. It's been 3 days.

I can sign in, but that's the furthest I can go. No clicking and sending of emails. Many times, I wanted to change to another e-mail, however, easier said than done. I'll have to inform all my contacts and all my old emails will be not with me. Also, I don't know if yahoo and google are reliable. I've used yahoo mail to send something, but my father didn't received it.

At least, hotmail is reliable. But, it's trouble with the letter 'T'.

Updates on Christmas

Christmas is coming, again.

Anyway, yesterday went to Centre Point. I needed some Christmas spirit. My mother and I ought a Simont pendent each. Surprisingly, they are not too expensive.

I wanted to buy a Simont pendent this Christmas, but thought the better of it during the last few months. Books are so much better. But since, I can't find any books I wanted in Borders, I decided to go back to buying a necklace.

I found a new way of doing banners for Twilight! This time, it's no longer just adding words to pictures. I can do the banners in layers. I already tried it out, and the effect was great. I'll probably post some here next time.

This Christmas, I won't be in Singapore. Off to Bintan, this time without my parents. Hoping to have fun all the same.
