Christmas spirit in the air

On Christmas eve, at about 4 o'clock, my family and uncle's family went to Orchard Cineplex to watch The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. After that, we went to eat dinner. We took a "stroll" down Orchard Road to look at the lightings. It was a flood of people. I hated it when some people used party sprays. They will sprayed it on passers-by.
Later, we drove to Bugis Juction. We were enjoying the fountain while my uncle went to look for coffee-house. Suddenly, a youth "smacked" another youth's helmet. The transparent cover came out. The youth fell down and was kicked by the two youths. They were just beside us. We were pulled away by our parents and walked away quickly. We were all shaken by this. We were still discussing about it when we went to the a coffee-house. To think that something like this would happen before our eyes.
We went home at about 11pm. I got online and had a Christmas countdown in Maplestory. I played until 1am. Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas??

To me, Christmas is just another day. Each year, Christmas meant less and less. As we grow older, we recieved less presents. Few years ago, we had celebrations in my uncle's house. This year, I am going to watch The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe with my uncle's family.
I don't know how to describe that feeling. That when you see people bought lots of gifts and you wonder why they buy "everything" (not practical things). Although, my father bought presents for us, I don't know what to buy. We did not put up a Christmas tree this year. I made a Christmas wreath and some snowflakes.
I sent out Christmas greetings to my MSN friends, but only some replied. It made me very happy as this was the first time I recieved greetings online.
Anyway, I want to wish all of you Merry Christmas!

What do you think? It is to be sing to the tune of "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing". You will find that it would mostly fit in. Hope all you like it. I like the first two chorus, it is the most successful. My brother helped in the making of this song too.

Vacation at Malaysia

On December 11, My family, uncle's and aunt's families went to Malaysia ( 3 families ). It was a last minute decision. After lunch at my uncle's house, we drived to Malaysia.
We reached Melacca at about evening time. We stayed in a family budget hotel as it was only for one night. We went to visited the night-market and had dinner at a chicken rice stall.
Next morning, we leave the hotel to "search" for breakfast. We travelled around the city to look for breakfast but most stalls opened at 10 am. At last, we went to a nearby R & R to eat A and W. We drank root beer and ate hamburgers. After that, we went Mines Resort shopping center.
We ate sushi for lunch.
On our way to Bukit Tinggi, we got lost a few times. At evening, we reached Bukit Tinggi Resort. It was quite cool there. The resort was set like a Holland Village. We walked around and found out that most shops closed at 7.00, 9.00 pm. We ate at La Flamme Sidewalk Deli, a pizza shop. After dinner, it was already 9.30. We watched a show there.
7.30 was our morning call. We ate a buffet breakfast. We went bowling afterwards. My score was 18 and 47. After that, we to the Botanical Garden and Japanese Tea House. We also went horse riding. It was really fun. My cousins, brothers and I had horse riding lessons. My horse was called 'Patch'. For dinner, we had roasted chicken at Le Poulet Roti.
Next morning, 14 December, we packed up. Before we left, we went to the Rabbit Farm. We went to the same R & R to eat KFC and bought things. We reached Singapore at about 7 somthing.

chocolates

Well, I decided to write a little more about myself.
I like chocolates very much. I like dark chocolate best. At home now, I have 5 packets of chocolates. Some of them are bought from the airport, whenever my father go overseas, he would buy chocolates for us.
Usually, I would either eat 'Cadbury' or 'Ferrero Rocher'.
The best dark chocolate I have eaten so far is 'Droste', produced in Holland.
The most expensive chocolate in my home now is 'Lindt'. It is made in Switzerland. It is swiss dark chocolate thins.
Besides chocolates, I also like ice-cream. My favorites are "cherry garcia", "New York super fudge chunk", "chocolate cake", "mint and chocolate chips", "chocolate chips" and many more. My favorite brands are 'Ben and Jerry's' and 'Haagen Dazs'.

Another day...Part 2

I just came back from my school. The teacher did get my father's E-mail after all. My Sec 3 class has Pure Science and 'A' Maths. I won't cry any more. No use crying anyway. Some of my Sec 2 friends are also in my class.
But if anything "go wrong", like I failed my Maths, the teacher who"encouraged" me to go to this class is to be blamed. (being childish again)

Another day...

Today, I am going back to school to know which class I go to next year. I am really nervous.
Remember the last time I wrote about the "class thing" (refered to Dead...), I wanted to go to another class but.........? I don't want to talk about it. I dread what I am going to find.
I don't know if my teacher got my father's E-mail because she did not reply back. If I go to my "choice" class, I am afraid that I will regret it. If I go to my father's "choice" class, I will not like it.
What am I going to do?????

GOF

Yesterday, I went to watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with my mother and brothers. It was really good, better than the Prisoner of Azkaban (POA). I would give GOF 4 stars out of 5. In my opinion, the POA was too much of a comedy. I was quite disappointed by it as POA was my favorite book. I read more than 10 times.
I like the first two films best because all of the actors are so "cute", especially Draco. My favourite character in the movie is Draco. Hope all of you enjoyed it.

This is an original song compose by me, I hope. I got my ideas from christmas songs I heard.

Please do not copy my lyrics. I spent lots of time on it. I will put some more lyrics I wrote next time. There is one about the characters in Lord of the Rings.

Maths........Yuck!

Having seen the title, you should know that I dislike or even hate Maths.
One of my most hated subject is Maths. I am not too good in it. That is the reason I am not choosing 'A' Maths as a subject. I started hating Maths when I was in Primary 3. Although, I did not fail in almost all my Maths tests and exams, I will never like it. I hate graphs, fractions, angles...... worst of all ALGEBRA. I am not like those people who treat Maths as a "hobby", doing Maths as if they were "drinking water". ( It is just an exaggeration ) Whenever I see lots of Maths questions, my brain would go dead. I just can't think.
When I encounter a question I don't know how to do, I will just leave it aside, without bothering the other questions. I know this attitude is not good, but I can't help it. If I am too annoyed with the questions, I would throw the books or papers on the floor and stamp on them. Somtimes, I even cried. Maths s****.
This is probably one of the very harsh blog I have ever written. This is also the first time I write a bad word. Some of you who like Maths may even write unkind comments. But this is how I feel about Maths. I hate Maths!!!!!

HoLiDaYs

The school holidays had already passed about 2 weeks. I had lots of homework, but had not even started on a single one. I must finish my work before Nov 26. This date is not given to me by my parents but by my "stars". I read it every day on the newspaper.
I stayed at home by myself durings the holidays. I did not do much at home. I did some housework. Most of my time were spent online.
I played a game called MapleStory. You had to create a character to fight monsters and at a certain level, you get to choose a job. You can buy items to dress up your character. Above are some monsters you have to fight. I also had accounts in Neopets and HabboHotel.
Recently, I borrowed a book called The Origins of Tolkien's Middle-earth For Dummies by Greg Harvey. It helps you make sense of the creatures, language, geography, and richly detailed history of the fascinating world of Middle-earth. You will discovered the varied sources and inspirations behind Tolkien's stories and comprehend the meanings that lie beneath the surface.

My Class

My classmates were a batch of lively students, especially the guys. My class was the liveliest of the whole Sec 2 Express classes, I think.
When I first met my classmates in Sec 1 (We were in the same class from Sec 1 to 2), I was "disappointed", because in my primary 6 class, the guys were " full of energy and action". But in my Sec 1 class, the guys were quite quiet and well-behaved. I liked my class to be noisy and lively.
However in Sec 2, it changed. The guys were not that "innocent" after all!Even the teachers could see that. Vulgarities became a common language in my class. Most of the guys and some girls added them when they spoke. I was not very bothered by this.
Anyway, I would to share some incidents that happened in my class.
Every morning, the guys would play soccer in the classroom. One time, the ball hit a window pane and it fell from 4 storeys high. Luckily, it did not hit anyone. One guy was caned. Beside this, 3 out of 4 fans were "damaged".
They also fought. there was one time where 2 guys fought in the toilet after school. Lots of guys in went to see. It was a minor fight. Despite all these incidents, I still "loved" my class.
After The-End-of-Year Exams, they played poker cards, bought MP3s and handphones to school. My friend teached me how to play Black Jack.
My class was quite united. I really enjoyed being together with my classmates.

Sat.....

This afternoon, I went to Toa Payoh's Popular bookshop. I wanted to buy Point Blanc by Anthony Horowitz. I did not keep my hopes high as I had already went to NorthPoint, Causeway Point and Changi Airport but did not get to buy the book. True enough, I did not find the book.
Tonight, I went to Orchard to try my luck. The shopping centre I went to did not have a bookshop. Once again, I was disappointed. However, I managed to buy a VCD that I had been looking for a long time.
Everytime I wanted something, I would not easily find it. For instance, last time I was looking for a book, Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer. I went to many bookstores but could not find it, at last I bought it in Times. After that, in every bookstore I went to, I saw the book. This was only one of the many"examples".

It was the end of another school year. Time really flies.
Today was our last day in school. We were released at 10 am. We danced to end the term, after that we went back to class to clean the room. We signed on our class photos.
Although I don't really like going to school, but when it end, I will feel sad. I will miss my class and friends, since next year we will not be in the same class anymore. I will miss my teachers as well, they may not be teaching me next year.

Today was our second last day in school. We were allowed to go home at 10 am.

I got back my report book. I was promoted to Sec 3 Express. My average score was 65.5%. I was the 9th in my class.

We received lots of " presents". Lots of homework!

School News

Today, I had my Chinese Painting course ( it was my CCA). It was from 2.30 to 4.30. ( It was the last lesson).

The whole day was filled with " activities". We had to sit in the hall all day long, listening to talks.

9.20am to 11.10::: Anti-drugs talk

11.15 to 11.40::: recess

11.50 to 1.45::: Childhood Cancer talk & Sec 2 Literature plays

On the literature plays, it is a must for all Sec 2 students. It was part of our Exam marks. My group did not qualify to present our play to the whole school ( minus the Sec 4). Only two groups qualified. Needless to say, they were the "best". But most of us( from my class) said that the teacher was unfair. She chose the groups from her own class. Both groups came from the same class. The plays were from Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet and Macbeth. After seeing the plays, I felt that they were really good.

But I still liked my group's play the best. ( R&J)

School News

Today, we had our" Batik" course. It was the second session. The instructor seemed to be in a bad mood. She kept shouting at us and complain to the teacher-in-charge. The instructor was very mad at some of the boys.

Some examples are: one of the boys threw a chalk at her, when the instructor told a boy to sweep the floor, he refused saying that he came here to learn something and not to do housekeeping, one boy also made signs behind the instructor. ( they are all different guys)

When the teacher-in-charge came back, the instructor told her all these. The teacher was very angry. She held us back and lecture us until 11.30. ( the course was suppose to end at 10.30)

Today, I also got back my exams results. I was quite pleased with them. I qualified for "A" maths and pure sciences. But I am not going to take them for Sec 3. I recieved my class photos: a formal and informal.

A Start

Actually, I wanted to start a blog long ago but do not have the courage to do so... I am afraid that people may post nasty comments so.....

Anyway, since school holidays is about to start, so here I am.

1 of my fave authors is Eoin Colfer. His books include "The Supernaturalist", "The Wish List" and the "Artemis Fowl" series. The series tells about a boy, Artemis Fowl who is a brillant criminal mastermind. But even Artemis doesn't know what he's taken on when he kidnaps a fairy, Captain Holly Short of the LEPrecon Unit. These fairies are armed and they're they're dangerous. Artemis thinks he's got them just where he wants them, but then they stop playing by the rules...
