And my recess week just ended...
It's back to usual tomorrow and it's be 7 weeks before I can see the sun again. One of the main reasons I dread about the resuming of the semester is all the assignments deadlines. I have assignments due literally every week and I'm kind of screwed this time.
There are 2 essays to be written! Two! I used to struggle with just 1.
Of course, I have this nasty "creative" presentation to be done with the group members. Apparently, the professor wants to be entertained by students generally making a fool of themselves. I don't get it why can't it be the usual, "boring" powerpoint presentation.
Sighs, this is irritating and frustrating. I am in dire need of a "real break"- whereby I don't have to worry about anything that has to do with work/studies.

There and Back Again
Guess I am back from my impromptu hiatus of more than one month. It sure feels weird writing again.
I'm halfway through this semester with 7 more weeks to go before the finals are here again. The past 6 weeks has been more or less manageable, although there were bad days. I'm trying to be more hardworking than I was in my first year so that counts for something right?
This is the recess week and for the last 4 days, I've been busy working on projects. It hasn't feel much like a holiday until today. Hence, the mood for blogging.
My father and I, together with my brother, went to collect his new passport and went for lunch at Lenas at Bugis Junction. It was the kind of restaurant I would go to if I'm on a holiday overseas. It has nice ambience and the food is quite tasty.
I bought two pairs of jeans from Levi's and then went for drinks at TCC. I just love the "up-class" setting with hanging crystal chandeliers and red velvet seats. It sure feels great to be out and about, putting my worries aside, if only for a short while.
It's back to normal days on Monday and it will be 2 months of non-stop action before I get a chance to breath again. 2 months before the final examinations. 2 months before I get to fly off to Europe?
After the prolong storm, the sun will shine once more.
